Copper alloy coin weight. Probably an angel or half angel weight, to check later medieval gold denominations of that name; the angel being valued at 6 shillings and eight pence. Cast copper alloy rectangular weight with stamped design in a beaded circle depicting St Michael advancing left thrusting spear downwards into dragon underfoot. Suggested date: Late Medieval to Post-Medieval, 1461-1649.

Length: 16mm, Width: 15.6mm, Thickness: 2.6mm, Weight: 4.39gms.
