It has nine raised pellets unevenly arranged within a low relief line border; between this line and the raised edge is a series of radiating lines all the way around the outer portion of the design. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The token is worn and bent; it has a creamy dark brown patina. Lead tokens with simple designs were easy to make at home and had a variety of uses, they continued in use for a long period; therefore, a general broad date range of 1250-1800 is given. Similarly decorated unifaced tokens of this period may be found on the database at PAS record IDs: SUSS-8AE598 and SUSS-E14E33 but this one is unusually large.
