A copper alloy rectangular buckle frame dating to 1720-1790. The frame is curved on the longest sides and have drilled holes on the inside for a seperate spindle, which is now missing. The object is undecorated and there is a break in the metal on one of the shorter sides. It is green in colour and weighs 17.8g. It measures 53.79mm in length, 48.53mm in width and 6.22mm in thickness. For a parallel see Whitehead, R. (1996) Buckles 1250-1800, 104, no. 665.
