Iron object in the form of a half-round channel one end of which is turned to form a bracket.
Notes:
No parallels exist for this object amongst the shield grip recorded by Dickinson and Harke and it form is unlike that of any early Anglo-Saxon bucket handle. It is suspected that it is likely to be recent but in view of the other finds from the site is was considered to be worthy of record.
