Pottery body sherd with a possible finger-nail impression on one edge of the exterior of the sherd, but the surface is abraded and damaged so this mark may be accidental or natural. The fabric has inclusions of pale felspars, and is orangey-brown on the exterior and on the interior of the sherd, with dark brown patches. This fabric is seen in comparable local Grooved Ware vessels, dating from c.2900-2400 BC (Henrietta Quinnell, forthcoming).
