Oval piece of dark grey coloured flint with off white inclusions. The dorsal face exhibits several ridges with negative scars, distal edge appears rounded and may have been deliberately manufactured. The right margin is more blunt than the left and could be classed as having been backed, there does appear to be evidence of retouch but it is slight. The left margin is more shallow and sharp in appearance. The proximal edge has been broken implying this implement was much larger. The ventral face is smooth in appearance and texture, some conchoidal rippling present in the surface. Possible retouch along the right margin but very light.
