Spindle Whorl. Cast oval to discoid whorl with a lightly countersunk aperture of diameter 11.5mm. Knife cut facets around the circumference suggest the object has been finished or trimmed after casting. Patinated overall. Suggested date: Medieval, 1100-1350.
