Copper alloy mount. Concavo-convex hollow domed mount; a border of tiny stamped bosses in relief has been formed with a pointed tool working around the back of a narrow rim. An apical hole of diameter 2.2mm accommodated a rivet (now lost). Suggested date; Medieval, 1300-1450.
