Modern silver cuff link element or button. It is in the form of a flower formed of a central circular recess, surrounded by eight smaller ciruclar recesses of which only five survive. Each of the outer recesses are surrouned by a narrow ropework border. The recesses are likely to have contained glass, gem or paste settings. The reverse has two incomplete projections which would have formed an attachment loop.
It is 15.68mm in diameter, 2.29mm thick and weighs 0.5 grams.
The find is less than 300 years old, and as such does not need to be reported as potential Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act (1996)
