Six sherds of ceramic vessels which are probably Medieval in date. They are all wall sherds.

1. reduced light grey to buff fabric, hard with a fine texture. There are fairly sparse, rounded, grey inclusions (coal measures grits?) with occasional pieces of quartz.There is a grey coating on the outer, buff coloured surface. 32.93mm long, 27.16mm wide and 4.75mm thick.5.7g.

2.oxidised orange fabric, hard with an irregular texture and a pimply surface. There are frequent angular quartz inclusions and some grey ones. There is a splash of purple glaze on the inner face. 25.85mm long, 22.09mm wide and 6.52mm thick. 3.93g.

3. reduced dark grey fabric, very hard with a fine texture. There are sparse, very small quartz inclusions. There are splashes of green glaze on one face. 27.78mm long, 19.42mm wide, and 6.26mm thick. 3.6g.

4. reduced light grey fabric, hard with a fine texture. There are sparse, very small quartz inclusions and grey (grit?) inclusions. There are splashes of green glaze on one face. 26.2mm long, 18.77mm wide, 4.98mm thick. 2.31g.

5. buff fabric, soft with an irregular texture. There are poorly sorted grey and stone inclusions, some angular and some rounded. There are also circular holes in the fabric. There is a black coating on one face, but it is not soot. 22.98mm long, 13.64mm wide and 7.44mm thick. 1.47g.

6. buff to pink fabric, very soft and abraded with a smooth texture. There are occasional varied inclusions. The sherd is not glazed. 22.24mm long, 11.17mm wide and 9.17mm thick. 1.77g.
