Two openwork pieces of triangular lead, joined at each corner. There are ceramic fragments between the peices of lead, which are orange with a dark grey core; the fabric has mica inclusions. The ceramic extends beyond the edges of the triangle. The lead could be a form of pot mend, however it is unusual in construction. The fabric could be late Roman in date.

The lead is 34.77mm long, 28.09mm, with each layer lead being 3.2mm thick. The ceramic is 5.3mm thick. It weighs 31.6 grams.
