An unpatinated oval shaped flint scraper of probable Neolithic date. It is struck from a dark brown flint, with a prominent bulb of percussion on the ventral face and a large area of cortex remaining at the centre of the dorsal face. All of the edges show signs of relatively fine and in places steep edge retouch. It measures 60.02mm in length, 64.63mm in width, 18.51mm in thickness and 78.39g in weight. This is a flint scraper of Neolithic date, c.3,500-2,100 BC.
