Flint scraper, sub ovoid in plan and curved lozenge shaped in profile. The dorsal side surface is over half cortex. The distal end is spalled with some retouch. The proximal end is also spalled. The left margin has a retouched edge with adjacent large flake removal. On the ventral side the left margin is retouched with a visible bulb of percussion on the proximal end. On the right margin there is retouch scarring.
The flint is mid grey in colouring with a secondary cortex of cream grey tones.
Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 128, Fig. 52, No. 4 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
