A broad thin, hard hammer struck flake of dark brown translucent flint with a patch of nodular cortex near the proximal end. The bulb of percussion has been removed with abrupt retouch on the concave break facet. This may have been used as a finger grip for using the lateral margins, which are sharp. The left edge has some fine retouch and the right some use wear. Mercer(1981) illustrates an edged flake on page 131, fig 57, L110.
