A Medieval, cast, copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame.
The frame is a flattened oval in cross-section and sub-oval in plan. It is has an enlarged, ornate leading edge which has, at each end, a large, cone-shaped knop. The strap bar is offset, narrowed and is circular in cross-section. The pin is missing.
