Description: Silver gilt posy ring. Small silver gilt ring with a d-shaped hoop. The outside of the hoop is plain, the inside is engraved with "THINK OF ME".
Discussion: The style of the lettering is consistent with rings from the 16th to 17th century. Posy rings were also used as love tokens, with the inscription remaining secret to all but the wearer.
