It may have been from a heat-treated blade core. There is slight use of the right margin with shallow retouch. There is a little more on the distal end and some shallow abrupt damage to the break facet from end scraper use. Flakework is lustrous suggesting a smoothed structure from successful heat-treatment. Mercer(1981) illustrates a truncated flake on page 143, fig 63, L206.2011-12-11 17:12:182012-01-29 14:53:29412004-11-012004-11-302011.232Certain413269PAS4EE4E4720013F6104PUBLICFlint10837CompleteMESOLITHICMEx14235p0gjgrs45g4NEOLITHICNEx14337p0gjgrs3d38FieldwalkingExactlyCirca45984543750244424375041427SW4627SW4627SW47SE50.088689-5.55234326352492810360180img545.jpg16edged flakeRoyal Institution of Cornwall5images/grahamhill/South WestOperations to a depth less than 0.25 mCultivated landEuropean RegionUnitary AuthorityCornwallUnitary AuthorityCornwallCivil Parish50.0836-5.57321PaulDonated to a museum97321
