Lead conical spindle whorl, this is made of seven lobes with a circular off centre hole. Diameter 23mm, thickness 7.5mm, weight 12.37g. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period to the Post Medieval Period and are hard to date precisely.
