Roman brooch Colchester derivative 'T' shaped Dolphin mid Ist century AD. The bow rises hump like from the top of the wings and sweeping in an arc as it diminishes in width towards the foot which is plain. The wings are enlarged in height obscuring the spring casing from which the spring is missing as is the catchplate.

The length is 31mm and the width is 14mm.
