A medieval silver coin: a penny of Edward III (1327-1377), Treaty Period (1361-1369), Durham mint. A section of the flan has broken away between one o'clock and four o'clock on the obverse. It is 17.9mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 0.93gm. Reference: North, volume 2, number 1272.
