An incomplete copper alloy penannular brooch of Roman date. The brooch is of Booth Type A8 (Fowlers Type A3) with a plain, circular sectioned frame which expands towards a globular terminal. A raised collar denoted by two parallel incised lines is present at the junction of the terminal and shaft.
The metal is a mid yellowish-green colour and is extremely worn. The pin is 36.3mm long, 7.3mm in diameter and weighs 3g.
