An incomplete cast copper alloy drop handle of late medieval to post-medieval date. The handle is of trilobite form though the terminals have been lost due to old breaks. Both faces are stamped with a series of annulets as decoration.
The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The handle is 58.6mm long, 8.4mm wide, 7.4mm thick and weighs 4.1g.
Drop handles such as this are likely to have been from chafing dishes dated to the late 15th or 16th centuries.
