A copper alloy knife of Bronze Age date. The knife is tanged and has a flat midrib. It has a flattened lozenge shape in section which is broader at the tang terminal, the tip of which is missing due to old breaks. The edges are less worn here than down the blade edges. There are patches of wear and some corrosion on the blade surfaces, and the lower terminal is also incomplete. The knife measures 64.84mm in surviving length, 8.22mm in width across the tang, 13.37mm in width acrodd the centre, and 9.38mm in width at its broken blade terminal. It varies in thickness between 2.5mm and 2.98mm. It weighs 11.42g.
Dr Pendleton considers that this knife is unusual in being exceptionally small and narrow, and suggests that it may have been re-used from a larger blade.
