Medieval Scottish coin; incomplete struck silver penny of Alexander III, second coinage, class H, dating to c.1280-1286. Mint uncertain but mullets on reverse total 25 points.

Obv. Crowned profile bust of king left, with 'gaunt' face. Holding sceptre before face. ALEXAND[...DEI] GRA Rev. Long cross pattee which divides the legend. Mullet in each quadrant. Three mullets have 6 points, one has 7 points.
