Iron age? copper alloy object, 19mm long, 17mm wide and 5.5mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 5.84grams. It consists of four sub spherical lobes which are arranged around a rectangular void. These have a rounded oval section with rounded outer edges and a flatter inner edge, forming the sides of the void. The surface of each lobe has a circular, rectangular sectioned, depression which has concentric ridges on its surface. The object seems to be complete and has no obvious fittings, so it must have been secured to anything via the rectangular void. The shape of the void suggests it may have been attached to a shaft, possibly a knife tang?

The object looks slightly like BERK 4EFFC6, a brooch. This object is clearly not a brooch but its purpose and date are not confirmed.

It has been suggested it could be a dress fitting similar to Roman examples which joins four straps that were worn over the shoulders and around the waist.
