A complete but worn, uninscribed uniface cast lead alloy token of Post Medieval date. The token has a sexfoil (six-petalled flower) with central pellet on one face, in low relief within a raised border (Powell Type 1 - petalled flower - see Fletcher, 'Tokens & Tallies' 2005, 101). Two of the petals are blundered and it is possible the design is intended to be a cinquefoil not a sexfoil.
Lead alloy tokens are dificult to date with accuracy, the majority are thought to be post Medieval in date, this one is dated c.1600-1800.
