A post-medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Schultes I (fl. 1553-1584) dating to 1553-1584. Rose/orb type inscribed with the master's name as the reverse legend. Minted at Nuremberg. Mitchiner (1988, 402; see no. 1352ff.).
The jetton has been perforated through the inscription from reverse (at about 2 o'clock) to the obverse. It measures 23.7mm, in thickness 0.4mm, and weighs 1.2g.
