A Roman copper-alloy as of Marcus Aurelius as caesar, probably dating to the period AD 154-155 (Reece period 7). Illegible legend, reverse type depicting Mars walking left holding spear and trophy. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC III, p. 184, no. 1322. This is possibly a Coin of British Association as listed by D. Walker in his report on the Sacred Springs at Bath (Walker, 1988: pp. 295, 299, nos. 382-435, pl. XXXVIII).
