A medieval finger-ring missing part of its hoop and much distorted. The bezel was originally dish-shaped; the stone is lost. The hoop is triangular in section and is punctuated by three quatrefoil panels, between which are placed areas of punched decoration or the letters of an inscription. This inscription is placed mainly along the bottom edge, apart from the section to the right of the bezel, which reads: D E
The remaining letters running along the bottom edge read: + O S U I------ V E The inscription is impossible to decipher due to its partial state. The ring fragment is gold, and dates from the thirteenth century. Dimensions: diameter 21 mm, depth of bezel 4 mm.
