Complete silver Medieval cut halfpenny, probably issued by William I 'The Lion' of Scotland (1165-1214). Obverse shows the king left holding a sceptre and the reverse is a voided short cross with martlets in the angles.
Unclear mint or moneyer, minted between 1195-1235 (including the possibility it was minted under Alexander II in his father's name up to 1235).
