A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris. It is pentagonal in form, rectangular in section with one relatively smooth surface that shows signs of sooting or exposure to high temperatures, the opposite face being uneven and globular in form. The fragment measures 13.56mm in length, 23mm in width, 8.75mm in thickness and 9.88g in weight. It is of uncertain date and may belong to any point from the Bronze Age onwards.
