A Medieval silver coin: a halfpenny of Henry VI, first reign (1422-61), annulet issue, Calais mint, dating from 1422-27. The coin is struck somewhat off-centre and a section of the flan has broken away at eight o'clock on the obverse and is missing. It is 13.7mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 0.32gm. Reference: North, volume 2, number 1435.
