Silver short cross penny of John, Class 5b1, struck by Willem at the mint in London in 1205. The coin is double struck with two heads (at 180 degrees to one another) on the obverse and a distinct blurring of the reverse. The coin has been identified by combining both inscriptions to gather all relevant dating elements

Obverse description: Two crowned heads oposing one another. The crown is formed from a central cross shaped lis above a band of pellets. The head is bearded. From the style of the X and the round toppped R it places this coin into sub-type 5b1

Reverse description: Short cross with four conjoined pellets in each quarter. The two inscriptions from the double striking are conjoined blurring the mint LVND and moneyer WILLEM
