A lead bi-conical spindle whorl decorated on both sides.The central hole is eight mm in diameter. The decoration on one side consists of ten raised oblique lines radiating from the central hole to the edge, forming cells; each cell holds a raised pellet. The opposite side is decorated with a raised cross,each arm of the cross contains three oblique lines and there are three pellets in each of the quarters formed by the cross. The body which is in good condition has a dark brownish patina and looks to have not had much use.
