An incomplete cast copper-alloy finger-ring with a glass setting. Date Unknown.
This object comprises the bezel and a small portion of the hoop. The bezel (13.3 x 11.2mm) is oval in plan. It has a central oval setting of blue tinted opaque glass, which is also visible on the underside of the bezel. The setting is incomplete. There is a tiny portion of the hoop and between the hoop and the bezel there is a narrow transverse rib. On the underside, adjacent to the setting, there is an off-white material which is probably an adhesive agent.
The copper-alloy part is corroded and the glass is cracked and uneven. The two breaks on the copper-alloy are old.
