Date: Roman: 1st - 3rd Centuries AD

Description: Fragment of a Roman silver finger ring of Henig Type II. Only part of the oval bezel and one shoulder survive; the setting is missing.

Length: 12.38mm Width: 12.40mm Thickness: 2.82mm Weight: 2.01grams.

The object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal and is over 300 years old. Consequently it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.
