Flint scraper, both end and side. Possibly an exhausted core retouched to form a scraper. There is gloss from use wear on triangular shaped point which could have been proximal end, but with bulb of percussion having possibly been chipped away. There is heavy retouch at distal end, dorsal view, and around each side from the distal end opposite to the pointed end. Could possibly been an awl in the making. No cortex remains, and no signs of burning.
The flint is of a light fawn/brown overall colour and was likely derived from a local beach pebble.
Butler [2005] illustrates a similar example on page 184, fig 75, No 1 which is dated to the late neolithic/early bronze age.
