A fragment of a ceramic vessel handle of medieval date. The fragment is oval in section and is decorated with five ridges running vertically along the handle. The fabric is a buff colour with darker grayish core and no inclusions can be seen. The surface of the handle is coated in a pale yellowish-green glaze.
The handle fragment is 51.1mm long, 48.3mm wide, 19.1mm thick and weighs 42.3g.
