A blade of marbled mid grey flint with cream and dark grey. The removal has been by soft hammer. the profile is twisted with sinuous margins and dorsal scars. There is a short stepped flake scar for platform preparation and a small striking platform. On the left margin semi-abrupt retouch has exposed a small denticle. Butler(2005) illustrates notched flakes from a Mesolithic context on page 115, fig 46, 1-2. This blade is less parallel sided than many of the Mesolithic examples and may be Neolithic.
