A hard hammer struck long plunging flake of banded grey and opaque cream flint, removing step truncated flake scars on a flake and blade core face along with some pebble cortex.The left distal margin has a small semi-abruptly worked notch with some associated gloss on the ventral surface. The right margin is finely serrated with fine retouch. Butler(2005) illustrates a notched flake on page 115. fig 46, 1-2 and describes expedient tools on page 134.
