An incomplete copper alloy Scoop of posssible Roman date. The scoop is oval in shape, tapering to a point. The circular sectioned shaft joins the scoop with two ribbed collars before terminating in a old break. The scoop is 45.5mm long, 7.3mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weigh 1.98 grams.

The description states ( possible Roman date ) but there is doubt that this scoop is dates to the Roman period. Del
