Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, 31mm long, 10mm wide and 12mm deep. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 4.53 grams. The brooch has very small stepped wings and a hinged pin attachment. The bow is rectangular in section and has a circular head stud with a raised cross inside. Below this, the bow is decorated with a row of lozenge shaped raised motifs.
