Circular piece of dark grey/brown flint, with about 10% cortex remaining on the dorsal face, the cortex is smooth in texture. The dorsal face has a prominent projection left of centre of the face, while the proximal edge right side, appears to be a protruding point, with cortex on its surface. It would appear to be a piercer point.... Possible retouch on the proximal edge and upper right margin. The ventral face is uneven, with no bulb of percussion present, the left margin is smooth and appears to be a hinged termination. The point of what appears to be a piercer is more prominent on the right side, but no obvious retouch appears evident. This appears to be a wasteflake converted into a piercer.
