A fragment of a ceramic vessel of medieval date. The sherd is a very worn rim fragment. The fabric of the sherds is a light orange colour and is hard and smooth with traces of a dull olive green glaze on one surface. The fabric is similar to the Walmgate ware described in Laing 2003, p.95.
