There is one rim fragment and two body sherds. The fabric of the sherds is a mid greysh-black colour and is hard and gritty with numerous lighter inclusions. The surface of the sherds have a sparse metallic glaze. The fabric and glaze are similar to the Midland Purple ware described in Laing 2003, p87.
