Five fragments of wheel spun ceramic vessels of medieval date. There is one handle fragment, two rims fragments and two body sherds. The fabric of the sherds is a light grey colour and is hard and gritty with some lighter inclsions. Each sherd has patches of a dull olive glaze on its surface. The handle is decorated with two raised ribs placed to either side of the central point. This fabric and glaze of these fragments are similar to the Reduces Greenware described in Laing 2003, p.88 and would primarily have been used in "storage jars and cisterns with bung holes and multiple handles".

Handle sherd dimensions; 85.6mm x 40.9mm x 23.3mm; weight: 49.2g.

Rim sherd 1 dimensions; 70.5mm x 27.1mm x 15.2mm; weight: 19.6g The estimated diameter of the original vessel is 30cm and roughly 7% of the original vessel diameter remains.

Rim sherd 2 dimensions; 44.3mm x 39.8mm x 10.1mm; weight: 26.4g The estimated diameter of the original vessel is 28cm and roughly 3% of the original vessel diameter remains.

Body sherd 1 dimensions; 42.2mm x 39.2mm x 9.8mm; weight: 15.6g.

Body sherd 2 dimensions; 49.5mm x 43.9mm x 7.7mm; weight: 17.1g.
