A blade-like flake of translucent brown flint with a longitudinal ridge near to the right margin. The dorsal flake scar to the left of the ridge is in the opposite direction to the removal and indicates an opposed platform core. The flake has been truncated straight and obliquely, perhaps intentionally but the oblique truncation appears to cut through the dorsal margin semi-abrupt edge-work. This may be blunting retouch to make a grip when using the small hollow scraper or notch visible in semi-abrupt retouch ,seen from the ventral side where it removes half of the bulb of percussion at the proximal end.Butler(2005) illustrates a hollow scraper on a small flake on p.128, fig.32, 6.
