A copper alloy Roman coin; a badly corroded sestertius which has lost almost all of its patina and which is mostly illegible. It dates from 27 BC - 269 AD.
Notes:
The emperor is unlikely to be Trajan as suggested because the head seems to be the wrong shape. Trajan's head is elongated at the back.
