A Post-Medieval copper alloy mount. It is an oval mount with a single integral, spike with a square-shaped shank tapering to a sharp point. the mount is corroded and shows no sgns of gilding. It measures 21.17mm in length,11.56mm in width at its centre, and weighs 2.3g. A second, near-identical mount was found nearby (see PAS SF-15B6F7) and both probably functioned as belt mounts.
