Post medieval copper alloy belt or strap mount, probably of 16th or 17th century date
The mount is fragmentary (with a surviving length of 30.5mm a width of 25.6mm, a thickness of 3.0mm and a weight of 4.9g) and depicts a floral motif. One remnant stub for attachment survives on the rear. The surface has been lost and is now pale to mid brown with remnant traces of pale green patina.
